Assistant Manager–Warehouse and Logistics

Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. • MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus. • Minimum 8 to 12 Years of experience • Looking for candidate from building materials (HVAC, Rubber, A/C Ducting Industries) or manufacturing industries.Warehouse Management: • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch. • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. • Implement and monitor warehouse layout, storage systems, and stock management best practices. • Supervise warehouse staff; manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic audits.Logistics & Transportation: • Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations across domestic routes. • Coordinate with transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. • Optimize transportation routes and negotiate with logistics vendors for best terms and service levels. • Monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, transport cost per unit, and shipment accuracy.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: • Work closely with procurement, sales, and production teams to manage inventory levels. • Implement inventory control practices to reduce losses, obsolescence, and • overstocking. • Use ERP/WMS systems to track, report, and improve inventory and logistics performance.
