EMC and Electrical Safety Engineer
Your role

Interpret and maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMC and Electrical Safety standards (such as EN 60335-1 and the EN 61000 series) and European directives (EMC, LVD, RED), translating them into clear and usable design guidance for hardware development.

Partner with development teams to advise on EMC and Electrical Safety topics, including design reviews and improvement actions.

Plan and perform indicative EMC measurements and Electrical Safety tests in our in-house laboratory and coordinate full compliance testing with external laboratories.

Ensure compliance documentation and evidence are well organised and maintained throughout the complete product lifecycle.

Coordinate certification activities when required, acting as a constructive interface between internal teams and external partners.

Min. 3+ years of experience in EMC testing and Electrical Safety validation

Experience with embedded hardware development and Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs)

Familiarity with relevant European directives and standards for electronic products

An analytical and collaborative mindset with a proactive, quality-focused approach

Strong communication skills in English: Dutch is a plus, not a must.

An understanding of Agile / SCRUM development environments
