Global Account Coordinator - Your future position?

As a Global Account Coordinator in our Naarden site you will provide strategic support for our client's account, including desk research and analysis of global statistics and reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to promoting the flavor library to the client and developing tools that track global projects efficiently. You will also take the lead in managing the price and product database, supporting price negotiations by handling contracts, overseeing project support and data management, and providing comprehensive account assistance.

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Support

  • Knowledge of market data, statistics, reports, client trends and corporate performance at global level
  • Collaborate with cross-functional core account team (Sales, Finance, Controlling & Accounting, Marketing, IT, etc)
  • Support and contribute to internal initiatives and sales data analysis to minimize erosion, optimize margin/profitability and to define productivity plans

Price Negotiations and Global Contracts

  • Own the price file together with the World Account Manager – at global level
  • Support and contribute to the planning and number analysis needed for the annual negotiations
  • Collaborate with the client’s Procurement contacts and internal Pricing partners to have up-to-date annual price list(-s) in SAP
  • Active global coordination and implementation of new prices (including between negotiations) and organisational systems of the client
  • Support and contribute in preparation and follow-up of global contracts – including Legal connection

Project Management

  • Follow up on projects, samples, regulatory documents and prices
  • Provide support to the Category Leaders for key projects
  • Own the adequate implementation of new wins

Data Management and Global Coordination of Key Services

  • Ensure that the data in our systems is accurate
  • Handle complaints as per ISO guidelines and facilitate Quality Control connection plus speedy resolution – escalating to World Account Manager when needed
  • Prepare Sales statistics and customize analysis, in the client needed format for regular Business Review and report purpose

General Account Support and Core Team Communication

  • Support World Account Manager in all necessary activities related to business analysis, sales budget, pricing, presentations
  • Set up and actively add value to the internal training sessions for new sales team members
  • Preparation of digital newsletters internally and externally

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor degree - MBO or lower qualifications possible in combination with longer work experience
  • Fluent English level
  • 2-5 years of commercial work experience, incl. account administration, customer relationship in food or related industry
  • Ability to work with IT systems, tools and databases (SAP, Sales Force, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical planning, sales budgeting and forecasting skills to support WAM in developing ADPs and analysing business performance
  • Reporting and communication skills
