Oracle Application Specialist (Oracle Apex)
Job Title: Oracle APEX & Web Application Developer
Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ (Onsite Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: 6 months C2H
Additional Background Requirement
- Candidates should have experience developing web-based applications, ideally using Oracle APEX or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, database design, and application integration is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
- Must be able to work on‑site in Woodcliff Lake, NJ at least three days per week.
Education Requirement
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Experience developing web-based applications, ideally using Oracle APEX or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database design.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a finance‑related environment or working with financial data is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work on‑site in Woodcliff Lake, NJ at least three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to support finance operations and reporting.
- Build user‑friendly interfaces and dashboards using modern web technologies.
- Develop and optimize database structures and PL/SQL packages for financial data processing.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs.
- Automate financial workflows and reporting processes.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Ensure application security and compliance with corporate and financial data policies.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
