About the position
Responsibilities
- Manage the Transportation division telephone line to accept calls throughout the day.
- Review, process, and analyze motor carrier registrations.
- Access databases to locate carrier and registration history.
- Update and verify carrier records, identifying and correcting data errors or discrepancies.
- Enter and evaluate case information.
- Respond to general registration and civil forfeiture questions from the public.
- Maintain knowledge of processes and procedures to assist staff with complex motor carrier applications.
Requirements
- 30 months of experience or training in a secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited institution.
- 12 months of experience in a secretarial/administrative professional field or as an Administrative Professional 2.
