About the position

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Transportation division telephone line to accept calls throughout the day.
  • Review, process, and analyze motor carrier registrations.
  • Access databases to locate carrier and registration history.
  • Update and verify carrier records, identifying and correcting data errors or discrepancies.
  • Enter and evaluate case information.
  • Respond to general registration and civil forfeiture questions from the public.
  • Maintain knowledge of processes and procedures to assist staff with complex motor carrier applications.

Requirements

  • 30 months of experience or training in a secretarial/administrative professional field.
  • Completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited institution.
  • 12 months of experience in a secretarial/administrative professional field or as an Administrative Professional 2.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a call center
  • Customer service experience
