[Remote] Course Developer & Adjunct Professor- Information Systems Strategy and Governance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kaplan has partnered with Wake Forest University to develop leaders through online degree programs. They are seeking a qualified candidate to develop and teach a course in Information Systems Strategy and Governance, focusing on long-term planning and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach the Information Systems Strategy & Governance course in the online Master of IT Management program.
- Cover the creation and implementation of long-term plans for designing, delivering, and using organizational information systems to achieve strategic domain goals and objectives.
- Discuss resources to ensure alignment with and achievement of strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Facilitate weekly face-to-face virtual classroom meetings to reinforce coursework materials, apply academic concepts, and participate in focused discussions with faculty and colleagues.
Skills
- Master's degree in program field or related degree.
- 3+ years of experience in university-level teaching.
- 5+ years industry experience.
- Terminal degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver graduate-level, online course experiences that are valued by industry.
- Highly skilled in and/or highly attuned to adult learning best practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence.
- Ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity.
