Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Remote Video Editor Assistant to join our growing content team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to dive into the world of video production and editing. You will support our senior video editors in various aspects of content creation, learning valuable skills and contributing to engaging visual stories. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Norway.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior video editors with footage organization, logging, and asset management.
- Perform basic video edits, cuts, and transitions under supervision.
- Help with audio synchronization and basic sound mixing.
- Prepare project files for editing, including importing and exporting media.
- Research and source visual and audio assets (stock footage, music, sound effects).
- Ensure brand guidelines and content standards are met in all produced materials.
- Learn and apply new editing techniques and software functionalities.
- Provide administrative support to the video production team as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in video production and editing.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with digital tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with any video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools.
- A portfolio or examples of personal video projects (e.g., social media content, vlogs) is a plus but not required.
