Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive excellence in their work. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve their skills and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure seamless integration of new features and updates. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues to maintain the highest level of uptime. Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and procedures to support the Site Reliability Engineering team and ensure consistency and efficiency. Oversee the design and implementation of automation and monitoring tools to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Site Reliability Engineering and implement them to enhance McDonald's digital platforms. Lead incident response and resolution efforts, working closely with technical teams to minimize impact and restore service. Mentor and coach team members on best practices for testing, deployment, and maintenance of systems to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with other senior leaders to set and achieve goals, establish priorities, and allocate resources effectively. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Site Reliability Engineering team and the broader organization.
