Full Job Description

Summary:

We're hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to keep our warehouse equipment, facility systems, and operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Location: Memphis, TN

Hourly Rate: $24.00 – $29.00

Standard Work Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm (with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Monitor and maintain building systems such as fire suppression, emergency lights, and security systems
  • Document maintenance work and repairs using company systems or software
  • Track and manage tools, supplies, and parts inventory
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
  • Respond quickly to emergency maintenance calls and minimize equipment downtime
  • Work with vendors, warehouse supervisors, and team members to complete maintenance tasks
  • Assist with installation and setup of new machinery or facility improvements
  • Support warehouse operations as needed and participate in safety meetings

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–3 years of industrial maintenance, facility repair, or warehouse maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience operating or maintaining forklifts and material-handling equipment

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  • Basic computer literacy for work order tracking and maintenance logs
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Certifications:

  • Forklift Certification
  • OSHA Safety Training
  • Technical or vocational training in maintenance or electrical repair

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing
  • Comfortable working at heights or in varying temperatures
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to after-hours maintenance calls

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour ($50,000 – $60,000 annually)

Expected Hours: 40 per week
