Resources are leveraged in a manner this is strategic and cost effective to achieve FNEFL’s mission and goals.<br><br></strong><strong>Principal Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Ensure customer orders are accurately picked and staged for fleet/share/volunteer floor<br><br></strong><strong>Follow established guidelines to accurately and thoroughly fulfill inventory order requests<br><br></strong><strong>Accurately, efficiently and safely store items on racks, shelves, bins, refrigerated rooms/freezers according to product type, size, expiration date or product code<br><br></strong><strong>Conscientious and safe handling of all warehouse material handling equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, hand dollies, and forklift to prevent injury to self and others as well as mitigating damage to product, equipment or facility.<br><br></strong><strong>Will be responsible for conducting monthly inventory counts, as assigned, by physical count, recording product quantity and type.<br><br></strong><strong>Maintain clean, orderly and safe work areas always, including but not limited to, warehouse, grounds, bins and equipment.<br><br></strong><strong>Responsible for cleaning spills immediately, keeping walk areas and exits clear; lock and secure equipment and facility as required.<br><br></strong><strong>Responsible for notifying manager of problems or repairs as needed<br><br></strong><strong>Work with and may oversee volunteers to complete order processing and customer service, requiring the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in explaining procedures or following up with volunteers<br><br></strong><strong>Demonstrate professionalism and speak respectfully when interacting with staff, volunteers and the public<br><br></strong><strong>Job Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Other duties as assigned<br><br></strong>High school diploma or GED<br><br>At least three years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in the food industry<br><br>Ability to read and write in English and at a level that is generally accepted as literate<br><br>Possess basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.<br><br>Must be forklift certified and professionally trained in food safety<br><br>Ability to operate material handling equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks<br><br>High level of personal integrity and honesty<br><br><strong>Work Environment<br><br></strong>This position is in an office/warehouse environment and requires a flexible schedule and travel to accommodate FNEFL events. Work is performed indoors and outdoors with regular exposure to all weather conditions. In instances of a federal, state, or local declared emergency, FNEFL is typically considered an essential service and emergency responder; all employees may be called in to perform regular or emergent duties.<br><br><strong>Physical Demands<br><br></strong>The ability to perform the following physical activities are necessary in the performance of this job: Sit and use a computer for long periods of time; use a computer to accomplish the duties of the position (including typing and seeing); read and write in English; think strategically, communicate expectations, and establish priorities.
