Job Description:

We are seeking a Water Meter Installer (Start Date March 16th) to join our team for a project in the Republic of Missouri. As a Water Meter Installer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient installation of water meters across residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a company that values hard work and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Pre/Post Meter Readings:
    • Use our specialized software to accurately document initial and final meter readings before and after installation.
  • Conduct Meter Changeouts:
    • Safely remove old water meters and install new ones, ensuring proper activation and functionality.
  • Yard-to-Yard Installations:
    • Move from property to property to perform installations, maintaining a high standard of work quality and efficiency.
  • Communication:
    • Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the installation process.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Physical Fitness:
    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems preferred, but not required.
  • Tech Savvy:
    • Comfortable using software applications for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Reliable Transportation:
    • Must have dependable transportation to travel to different job sites.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage: $25/hr
  • Performance Bonus: Potential earnings up to $40/hr based on productivity.

Project Duration:

  • Republic of Missouri Project: 8 months
  • Subsequent Project: Open to Travel for future project - 14 months
